• Faulty Wiring - some GE front loading washing machines can start on fire when run on overload. These models were generally sold between December 2006 and May 2010 throughout the nation. The reason is being cited as faulty wiring, which have resulted more than seven units shoot up in flames as reported by consumers. GE recalled almost 181,000 units with model numbers starting with WBVH5 sequence.
